The Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art recently hosted the 2024 Acanthus Awards, an annual celebration recognizing achievements in Classical and Vernacular design. Honoring innovation and excellence across Architecture, Interior Design, Preservation & Restoration, Renovation & Adaptive Reuse, Landscape Design, the Allied Arts & Craftsmanship, Unbuilt Work, and Student Work, the Acanthus Awards highlight the transformative power of timeless design principles.
Bader Art Metal was proud to attend this prestigious event, joining our collaborators to celebrate the recognition of Soucie Horner, Ltd., and their award-winning project, "Perfect Measure." This exceptional luxury residence exemplifies the artistry and precision that define Classical design, and we are honored to have been part of the team that brought this vision to life.
Led by Soucie Horner, Ltd., and supported by Wujcik Construction and Exclusive Woodworking, Perfect Measure is a testament to the power of collaboration and the beauty of bespoke craftsmanship. The project features a series of custom brass elements by Bader Art Metal, each meticulously designed and fabricated to enhance the home’s timeless elegance.
The Perfect Measure project showcases several standout contributions from Bader Art Metal: Refined kitchen cabinet doors blend functionality with artistry, creating a focal point in the home’s heart. These custom brass doors exemplify the harmony of practicality and elegance. Intricate decorative screens and mirrors for the living room and primary bathroom elevate the interiors with their intricate detailing, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Bader’s work. Wardrobe doors for the primary closet seamlessly combine luxury and practicality, demonstrating Bader’s ability to tailor designs to exacting standards. Stunning wine cellar doors add an opulent touch to a space dedicated to indulgence and sophistication, further enhancing the residence’s luxurious ambiance. Each piece reflects our dedication to quality, precision, and the transformative potential of fine craftsmanship.
